Stacey Lawler is leading OWR into its second generation, she is currently the Executive Vice-President and a co-Managing member of OWR.  While she officially started with OWR Opinion in 2010, Stacey was known to help out around the office since its inception doing odd jobs, including alphabetizing, filing and even taking out the trash!  She started as internal marketing support running illustrations while learning case design and everything OWR.  Getting to know financial professionals, their practices, and clients to help determine which solutions best fits their planning goals is what sold her on this business. She is also a bit of a product nerd and loves being able to tailor the insurance policy to the individual client based on her extensive knowledge of the industry.   

Stacey earned her undergraduate and a master’s degree in Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania.  She lived in San Francisco for 5 years where she met her husband, Tim while doing market research in public health before she decided to move back to the east coast and join her father, Fred Wertlieb, along with his business partner Kevin O’Connor at OWR in late 2009. Stacey lives in Mahwah, NJ, with her husband, Tim, and their two children.  In her free time, she loves to be outside – hiking, browsing the local farmers markets or cheering her kids on at sporting events.
